COCOA BEAN BEER
The Tarì Bonajuto is a tribute to the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily, with its 150 years of activity and to what it has given to the city of Modica.
Once again the idea came from the comparison with Franco Ruta, to arrive to an unusual marriage in which the traditional craftsmanship of ancient workmanship at low temperature of the chocolate of Modica meets the creativity of master brewers.
A deconstruction of chocolate Bonajuto to get to the archetype, to which was referring the absolute Leonardo Sciascia describing it and at the same time a return to the liquid that was the origin of chocolate.
Thus cocoa beans, vanilla, cane sugar have led to a product with a high degree of complexity.
The result is a brown clear beer, creamy and persistent, which combines the notes of pure cocoa to the toasted ones of coffee of dark roasted malts. A meditation beer that goes with the chocolate of Modica, the Sicilian cannoli with ricotta and many other dishes, including raw fish.
